DOVETAIL GALLERY PROUDLY PRESENTS THE
Decorative Egg Museum

A tradition that began thousands of years ago, the gifting of an egg is a beautiful historical gesture renewed each spring. The egg is the source of life, a sign of rebirth and new beginnings. It is a sign of love that lies deep in the heart of the giver.

Dovetail's Egg Museum had exibited nearly 500 decorated eggs from around the world. An egg radio from Prague, a German zippered egg, a globe from New York and a Texas rhea egg purse are among the most unusual.

In 2014, Kathleen and Tom donated their 20-year-plus collection of decorated and wild bird eggs for permanet display at the community center in Egg Harbor. Read more about it in the article: Egg Collection Donated to Village of Egg Harbor.
